First Time Clients
Before scheduling a boarding or daycare reservation, we require a Meet and Greet session with your dog. The meet and greet is complimentary and allows us to introduce ourselves to you and your dog. We want to make sure all dogs in our care are happy, secure, and comfortable. See the sections below for our requirements.
Please call us to set up your initial visit at 270-770-2067.
Vaccines
We require all dogs coming to our facility for any services to provide documentation from your veterinarian of current vaccinations. We also accept documentation of adequate titer tests in lieu of inoculations. The vaccines we require are:
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo (or equivalent)
Canine Influenza
Bordetella.
Enrollment Application
Along with vaccination documentation and a scheduled Meet and Greet, we will need a completed Enrollment Application. This will get us started on becoming acquainted with you and your dog. Please use the link below to print the Enrollment Application if you would like to fill it out ahead of time and bring it with you for your Meet and Greet.
Additional Requirements
All pups over one year old must be spayed or neutered to participate in our boarding and daycare services. We accept dogs of all sizes and ages starting at 4 months old, but we reserve the right to refuse applications for dogs that would not be a good fit for a daycare and boarding environment. This can include senior dogs with excess medical requirements or mobility issues, dogs with behavioral issues, people-aggressive dogs, etc. Please call us if you have any questions.
We are not a Medical Boarding Facility.
Per our owner agreement, dogs with open wounds, unhealed surgical incisions, stitches, staples, surgical glue, or any other wound, sore, or non-intact skin will not be able to participate in our services.
If a dog requires more than simple medication such as insulin injections, hiding a pill in a food item or something of similar nature, DDO may not be the right boarding facility for you. We do not have a veterinarian on staff and the closest animal hospital is, at a minimum, a 20 minute drive from DDO’s location. Please call us if you have questions.
